I tried creating a post – I went into elements and added a youtube video. But I don’t know where the post lives? I can’t find it now. Do I have to create a page to place posts? How do I get a page with a bunch of posts?

Great question. First, you need to Categorize the Post.
    Then…

Dashboard > Appearance > Menu > On the left, look for Categories > Select your Category > Click Add > then drag the newly added Post Category around on the menu to where you want it > Save Menu

Let me know if this works for you.

Ok, I’ve created categories and put some videos in a category. Ultimately, I want to create a page called Videos and post some youtube videos that I have. I am not sure how to do that. I’ve got a draft page called Videos. I’ve got a couple of videos in a post now but I don’t know how to get them on the Video page. Also, if the videos are side by side (2 columns) in a post but they are in different categories, what happens when I filter on one category? Does the other one disappear?

    Okay, here goes…

You can do one of two things. But keep in mind that there are Pages (like Contact Us), there are Posts (which get Categorized), and there are what are called Category Archives, Post Feed, Blog Page, and a few other variations. These Category Archives are a listing of Posts, often by Category. You can’t edit this like you can edit a regular Page, because WordPress creates it dynamically. Avada gives you some control over how the Posts are displayed on the Category Archive though.

Let’s work backwards from how you want your videos to appear. If you can explain that, I can give you some options for how to proceed. Your site is looking great, by the way.
