Maybe you just need to reload the page or if you cannot get into it you can go to Dashboard > Pages and click on the page you wish to edit.

It seemed to fix itself – when I went back to the page, the black edit toolbar at the top was there.

Tim,

Yes, when things get weird, it’s usually the browser that is clogged up. Here’s what do.

1. Refresh the page
2. Try a different browser OR try clearing the history.

99% of the time one of those two will fix things.
