I would like guests to my site to be able to share their story and picture through a form submission. In order to view the form submissions and create views and post these submissions to a public page on my site, it looks like I need to add some plug-ins, correct? Avada is recommending HubSpot and HubSpot is saying I need Gravity Forms. I have worked with Gravity Forms on other sites but want to see if there are other free options that will work before purchasing Gravity Forms. Any recommendations?

You may want to try using AccessPress (https://wordpress.org/plugins/accesspress-anonymous-post/). I think this plugin best fit to what you want to achieve.
